I’m not sure if you’ve noticed. There are 2 movements going on.
-
One movement is propelled by one unprecedented disaster or tragedy after the next and a spiral toward chaos and division.
-
The other movement is being spearheaded by Black women who are showing up authentically, claiming all of their power, and evolving into the best version of themselves in spite of what’s going on around them.
As a practicing MD and Certified Life Coach, I have had an unprecedented front-row seat to the burdens we bear as Professional Black women.
You have stood with two feet firmly planted at the center of a vibrational earthquake that will reverberate for centuries and been asked to navigate the unimaginable with grace:
- Astronomical Gas prices
- Looming recession
- Rising interest rates
- A Global Pandemic
- MAGA
- Lack of accountability for people in power
- Police brutality
- The Great Resignation
- Karen’s
- A never-ending pandemic
- Monkeypox
- Showing up professionally “online” daily even when you don’t feel like it
- Educating your colleagues about their “microaggressions”, they seem so oblivious to
- Being nervous about going back “outside”
- Frantically working to keep an invisible virus outside your home so you can protect your loved one
- Losing loved ones
- Struggling to lose pandemic weight
- Losing connections with church
- Losing connection with friends and co-workers
- Teaching your children how to socialize again
- And giving every ounce of energy, you have left to ensure you can “hold it all together,” without having a complete breakdown
But if that wasn't enough ...
There is another election coming up where the world will look to US to save American Democracy once again.
Damn girl.
This is one of the most exciting times in history to be a Black woman and also one of the most challenging: your personal well-being must be your #1 priority
The Sistas Realign Retreat was the start of a movement and provided an unprecedented opportunity to Realign within, and now it’s time to Refresh that energy. Let’s take the goals from your vision board and put them into action.
Sis, if you are a part of the power movement or want to be, I’m here to show you how.
Even if the pandemic did give you the opportunity to REALIGN, a year has passed, and it’s time for a REFRESH. I’ll bet you could use it.
Sis, not only do you deserve a throne, a crown, and a bottle of Rosé
—you also deserve some refreshing time away.
As an MD who writes prescriptions daily to equip my patients with the necessary tools for healing, I don’t take self-care lightly. I see the result daily of the physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual neglect of Black women.
Black women have been taught to place themselves last. Tending to the needs of others is built in your DNA. As a result, the health disparities that Black women experience are catastrophic.
The Refresh is an opportunity to pause, breathe, realign and reconnect to the community and your power.
You have to be intentional about your wellness and radical self-care because no one else will.
The Sistas Realign Refresh
If I told you how many promotions, new business, and new connections were created as a result of The inaugural Sistas Realign Retreat 2021 you would say I was exaggerating, and that’s just the ones that I know about, but it’s all true. You can’t afford to miss this year’s Sistas Realign Refresh. This movement has spread around the country, and I don’t want anyone to miss out, which is why I am including a VIRTUAL option as well. This experience has been designed to inject the oxygen back into your system on a cellular level by providing you with the opportunity to pause, reflect, and refresh.
Join us for an intimate gathering of professional black women who, like you, are ready to “press the reset button” by intentionally and strategically investing in their personal development so they can emerge reconnected, re-focused, and fully refreshed.
Tell the world to wait...
You need an afternoon to realign with the power movement.
